Bad for Good es el único álbum de estudio del compositor estadounidense Jim Steinman. Steinman escribió todas las canciones y actuó en la mayoría, aunque Rory Dodd contribuyó con la voz principal en algunas pistas.
Las canciones originalmente estaban destinadas a ser grabadas por Meat Loaf como un seguimiento de Bat Out of Hell, titulado Renegade Angel. Sin embargo, Meat Loaf sufrió problemas vocales y no pudo cantar. Grabaría varias canciones de Bad for Good para sus álbumes posteriores.
