Recorded in 1969. Pay no attention to that man behind the curtain. This album of pure Country music from Rhythm and Blues singer Tracy Nelson is very different from her usual Blues and R & B efforts. Even so, this release, done with impeccable style, class and finesse, is considered by many of her die-hard fans as not only one of her best albums, it's in a class by itself. Many critics have agreed, and her cover of Tammy Wynette's Stand By Your Man alone is worth the price of admission, demonstrating ably her inhumanly powerful, masterly expressive voice. Tracy was only 24 when she cut this disc in 1969. It belongs in the collection of not only every Country fan, but anyone who is interested in Blues or R& B, for she is a stellar interpreter of each of these genres.
