Days of Future Passed es el segundo y más conocido álbum de The Moody Blues, lanzado en 1967 por Deram Records.
El álbum marca la primera incursión de la banda en el rock sinfónico (tras sus primeras grabaciones, más cercanas a la música beat y al rhythm & blues), siendo así mismo uno de los primeros discos de rock sinfónico en general. Es un álbum conceptual y orquestado, esto último gracias a la colaboración de The London Festival Orchestra, bajo la batuta de Peter Knight.
El concepto de Days of Future Passed relata, a través de sus 7 temas, el transcurrir de un día, desde el alba (The Day Begins), hasta la noche (The Night), y cada tema está a su vez subdividido. Precisamente el último tema o movimiento con que se cierra el disco (The Night), contiene la célebre canción Nights in White Satin, compuesta por Justin Hayward, máximo éxito de la banda.
