Después de la ruptura de la formacion last ritual ), el núcleo de la banda, Alan Springfield, Kenneth Lehman, Chris Efthmian, John Scarzello junto con Stafford L. James III (bajo) y Billy Schwartz (guitarra principal) ) formó Chelsea Beige a finales de 1969.
